Cycle

This animation was made in response to an open call for an exhibition around the subject of child loss, fertility issues and conversations around reproductive rights. My contribution deals with the hidden loss that stays forever a part of you. I wanted it to be fairly ambiguous regarding the nature of loss as this can be experienced in different ways.

I decided to create a hand painted animation on water colour paper, using a limited colour pallet and simple shapes that could morph into one another.
